hello there people!matt and i have been working our normal jobs and then coming home each night to work, little by little, on installing our wood floors downstairs.we ran into a bit of a snafoo when we discovered a crack in our foundation running through the width of the entire guest bedroom.after getting some good advice from our contractor and realtor, matt filled in the crack with some crazy toxic stuff and now we’re good to go!but it is a multi-step process  and just today we will be laying down the wood–yay!!!  i can’t wait to see what it looks like! lesson learned from this experience: double or triple the time we think it will take.  nothing much else is going on, this home improvement business is quite consuming!  and now for your viewing pleasure:   here’s a photo i found of matt from when we went to napa a couple of years ago: isn’t he quite j.crew-ish?

i love mr. snort!!!! matt and i went to his holiday party and they were taking prom-style pictures.randomly, i took a picture of the picture and i’m glad i did because we lost it at some point during the evening!here it is:  the end!!!!
